PPOP Awards has been delivering the service of the Philippine pop genre since its inaguration in 2016. The awards show was atteneded by some of the finest P-POP groups from time to time: From BoybandPH to MNL48 to SB19 and beyond. But we came to our minds whose behind this prestigious award?
The one behind PPOP Awards are the "PPOP Artists League". The PPOP Artists League established in 2014, with the mission to promote the Philippine Pop Culture on music and artists.It was held every last week of November, in pursuant to the celebration of "National Music Week for Young Artists"
Recently, some of the fans are complaining that in order to vote on their favorite groups, the account must pay for 105 Philippine pesos (Almost 2 USD) for subscription fees. There are also perks when subscribing to PPOP Awards, including live posts and exclusive contents from that page.
For the fans' perspective, while some of the fans can afford to vote and see contents on firsthand, some of the fans also are not capable to buy those.
Several people are intendedly not planning to vote and participate for the award.
PPOP Artists League is an organization.Every type of organizations in this world need funds not just to survive and stay for longer, but also to strive and grow even more with the programs that the organization has.
PPOP Artists League need more funds to meet the demands due to rising popularity of Ppop this year, compared to inagural award way back in 2016.
